The Presidents Cup Competition below, takes place in July each year and embraces all of the Club's disciplines in one annual competition.
PRESIDENT’S CUP COMPETITION
Saturday 11th July 2026
Stage 1 From 50 metres. Fire 10 rounds in 1 x 60 second exposure. (Fullbore Carbine)
Stage 2 From 50 metres - Load 6 rounds only. 
                        2 x 2 second exposures, fire 1 round at each exposure standing.
                        2 x 3 second exposures, fire 2 rounds at each exposure kneeling.  (Fullbore Carbine)   
Stage 3 From 25 metres, fire 6 rounds in 1 x 20 second exposure. (Smallbore LB Pistol/Revolver)
Stage 4 From 15 metres. 6 x 2 second exposures. One round only to be fired at each exposure (Smallbore LB Pistol/Revolver)
Stage 5 Run from 30 metres to 25 metres, pick up loaded carbine, fire 2 rounds in 1 x 10 second exposure. Followed by 2 x 4 second exposures, fire 3 rounds at each exposure. Total 8 rounds. (.22 carbine)   
Stage 6 This will be a  ‘practical’ rifle course of fire to be decided on the day. (.22 Carbine)
RULES & NOTES
1. Each competitor will be issued with a personal score sheet, it is their responsibility to have someone  else score their target, enter the score onto their personal score sheet and sign it. It will then be entered onto the master score sheet. Personal score sheets not filled in or lost will count as zero.
2. There will be no allowances for misfires or malfunctions. No artificial rests or supports, i.e. bi-pods, sand bags to be used on Stages 1 to 5. No magnified optic sights Stage 1&2
3. The testing and sighting of firearms must be carried out before the start time of 10.00 hrs.   (I.e. From 09.00 hrs - 10.00 hrs.)
4. All competitors should arrive at the start of the competition and are required to assist with patching, scoring and picking up brass. Late competitors will only be given the opportunity to 'catch up' if time and conditions allow.
5. Scoring - score high for bullet holes cutting through score line. (Maximum 1.5 x bullet diameter.) If used knock down targets or plates will score 5 points.
6. All stage start positions will be from 45 degrees unless otherwise stated.
7. Minimum total number of rounds required = 52 - All Stages.
8. If you don’t have any or the correct firearms to complete the above stages some members  have offered to lend you theirs providing you give advance notice of your needs and if you pay for the ammunition used.
9. And finally to avoid some of the problems of previous years. Please read and understand the course of fire and keep a copy with you so that you know the stage you are about to compete in. This will greatly assist those running the courses of fire from having to continually repeat each stage a dozen times to shooters not on the firing point. The RO or timer will then only need to read out the relevant stage to the shooters that are ready on the firing point.
